The fixtures for our 2026/27 YBL Women's Team and U17 Team have now been released and are available to view on the Black Country Basketball Club website. Supporters, players and families can now see the full schedule for both teams, including home and away fixtures, helping you plan ahead for an exciting season of YBL basketball. Black Country Steelers Women's Team – Join Us This July!

Black Country Basketball Club are excited to announce that training for our Women's Team will officially be commencing on Thursday 16th July. Whether you're an experienced player looking to compete or you're ready to get back into basketball after some time away, we'd love to welcome you to our programme. Our women's programme is built around high-quality coaching, player development and a positive, supportive team environment where players can improve, compete and enjoy the game. Training Details Date: Thursday 16th July Time: 8:30pm – 9:30pm Venue: Shireland CBSO Academy, Providence Place, West Bromwich Postcode: B70 8SZ Training is open to players looking to compete, develop their game and become part of a growing basketball community in the Black Country. Steelers Learn 2026/27 Division 2 Opponents

The Black Country Steelers Men's D2 team now know the teams they will face in the upcoming season, with a competitive and exciting schedule ahead. Joining the Steelers in this year's division 2 are: - Anglia Ruskin University - Bromsgrove Bears - Cambridge Cats - Charnwood Riders - Derby Trailblazers II - Endeavour Ipswich - Milton Keynes Breakers II - University of East Anglia - Warwickshire Hawks The season promises a mixture of familiar rivalries, challenging road trips, and exciting new matchups as the Steelers continue their preparations for the campaign ahead. Fixture dates and ticket information will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
